Concerning the news about President Chavez of Venezuela committing millions to the youth orchestra system in that country, a parent commented in an email:
I saw the blog entry; unfortunately I cannot be thrilled about giving Hugo Chavez any positive press!I don't intend to promote him, intending rather to spark our competitive spirit into a 60's-style space race--but with strings.
